Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian Prime Minister, brand-named a tax fraud case against him as “ridiculous” in a court hearing in Milan, Italy. This he said to a group of reporters as he went into the private hearing.
Prosecutors alleged tax fraud over the sale of film rights by his Mediaset company. However, the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has always denied his illegal behavior.
He said in a television interview that the allegations are “groundless and ridiculous” and that the case is politically inspired.
This is one of the four cases involving the controversial Mr Silvio Berlusconi, whose daughter, Barbara Berlusconi, is just as famous.
There is also a trial on accusations charging the Prime Minister that he paid for sex with an underage prostitute, then tried to use his influence to cover the issue.
On the first month of this year, Italy’s Constitutional Court passed down a law endorsed by the Italian government which protected him from suit.

Would you believe it, even a prime minister is sued for tax fraud? The law should be followed with no exemptions to it. A good leader is a great example to its constituents.
